Are you afraid
of your religion? Are you confused
because of the different religions
and sometimes with conflicting
religious teachings? Study the
Sacred Texts and undertake the
spiritual quest! The potential for
growth is more when we study other
religions than when we focus
exclusively on our own religions. In
his 1873 book Introduction to the
Science of Religion the German
Scholar Max Muller wrote “He or
she who knows one religion does not
know any religion”. Mahatma Gandhi
for instance was a Hindu, but was
also influenced by Jainism and
Christianity. He learned about
ahimsa, the doctrine of non-violence
from the Jains and he was highly
impressed by the Sermon on the Mount
in the New Testament.
There are 60
Sacred Texts Study Guides in this

an Opening Affirmation, Famous
Quotes on the Topic of study, Sacred Texts
Quotes on the topic of study, a Teaching
Story and a closing Prayer.
Affirmations introduce the topic of
study and serves as a lesson for the
participant. Famous
quotes include quotes of people from
different parts of the world. Find
out more about these people and make
presentations about their lives and
contributions. The Sacred Text
Quotes come from different scared
texts and as you can imagine they
are just quotes. We encourage you to
check out the sacred texts and find
out more about them; attend
different churches, mosques,
temples, and gurudwaras and enhance
your spiritual life. Teaching
stories tell a story about the topic
of discussion to throw more light on
the topic and drive the point home.
The topics of discussion are the
same topics of discussion,
education, preaching and sharing in
all religions. They are the
spiritual values that help us to
live happily with ourselves; they
are the spiritual truths that help
us to live in peace with our
neighbors; they are the spiritual
teachings that help us to develop
compassion toward our fellow
creatures; and they are the spiritual
insights that assure us that we are
not alone.
Lastly the Closing Prayer is the
Universal Love Prayer taken from the
Universal Holy Book.
Presently
published in coil spiral bind.
